This course starts at the very beginning of coffee development and works through coffee’s rich history.
We explain how coffee is grown, harvested, and finally shipped to coffee roasters and agents. A hands-on tour and roasting demonstration of the Danes Gourmet Coffee factory is provided to explain how the green beans are developed through different levels of roasting, and the philosophy behind blending different origins.
This is a ‘must-do’ module on your path to thoroughly understanding the fundamental principles behind the medium of coffee. A DGCI training manual is provided on completion of the course. |
